Plaza
Literally everyone -- natives and tourists alike -- know or have heard of “The Plaza.” The Country Club District of Kansas City is a must-see that offers retail, restaurants and entertainment venues spanning beautifully designed Seville Spain-inspired architecture. The neighborhoods surrounding The Plaza consist of upscale apartment buildings and homes, as well as walking trails and parks. Loose Park and the Nelson Lawn offer plenty of room to roam with nature. The Plaza is also the first outdoor shopping center in the world!

When we want to stay up late and celebrate life, this is where you’ll find us. Midtown/Westport is full of festive bars and pubs, late night clubs and retro-chic diners. During the day, Roamers shop at trendy local fashion boutiques and snack at local lunch hot spots. Evening brings a much different scene with fun at every corner. Bars, restaurants and entertainment venues open their doors to those seeking an evening of song and dance. Enjoy your night… the neighborhood is up late.

RIVER MARKET
Enjoy the city’s largest farmers market and some of its best foods. The Kansas City River Market is just north of Downtown and east of Columbus Park. The River Market is the perfect spot for those eager to explore downtown and retreat to a quieter, more intimate neighborhood. Casual global eateries, gourmet grocery stores and indie boutiques surround pavilions hosting a weekend farmers market. Plenty of patios are offered for those days when the weather is just right.

Crossroads
We’re all about the arts! The Crossroads Arts District is anchored by the Kauffman Center, one of the world’s most impressive performing arts facilities. The district is packed with happening art galleries and music venues and you’ll find local artists on the streets enriching the spirit of the neighborhood. Hip coffee bars, rooftop terraces and breweries are hidden throughout. The district is packed with chef-owned, local, one-of-a-kind restaurants - no chains here. At monthly First Friday events, art shows, music performances and food trucks draw big crowds. The free street car navigates right through the middle providing easy access to Crown Center and Downtown.

DOWNTOWN
Downtown Kansas City is experiencing a cultural renaissance and the whole world is noticing. Downtown is surrounded by landmarks and entertainment icons like the Sprint Center, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Kansas City Live! and the Theater at the Midland. The free street car travels down Main Street and allows for jump-on, jump-off ease from The River Market to Union Station. Kansas City Live! offers restaurants, bars, clubs and a huge outdoor screening area all year long and is in the heart of it all.
